Fish and chips no longer

Fish and chips no longer comes wrapped in newspaper in the UK, unless there is a cosmetic outer layer of newsprint atop several layers of plain white paper.

Such has been the case since (at least) the 1960s.

Newspaper-wrapped F'n'C is as much of an urban myth as warm beer and bad teeth in the UK. None have existed (meaningfully) for many years.

By the way, I'm still trying to think through the complications of marketing on my site, and I'd be interested in your thoughts about my current post. I guess it's more of an ethical than economic question, but I suppose I imagine there might be some interrelationships.
