Ever been somewhere where the fourth is used? It's not pretty, and there's certainly no guarantee you get the results you wish for. If there are not enough like-minded people to achieve a society of liberty through the first three, I doubt you can do it successfully through the fourth.

I agree. The use of the fourth in the French Revolution convinced much of Europe at the time that moving away from Monarchy was a very dangerous strategy. This helped extend European Imperialism long past what would otherwise have been it's expiration date.

I always thought of the ammo

I always thought of the ammo box being used as a err.. umm... reminder for those who would use the first three against liberty. Guess it does not work.

Why, yes, I have been in a country where the ammo box was used. I was born there, and I live there now. The United States of America.

The Founding Fathers worked through the first three as well, and when they failed, they moved on to option 4 and succeeded, if only for a little while.
