along the same line, in the US and Canada there are television 'standards boards' that are politically loaded with sympathists from both sides of the two dimentional spectrum. In the US you can basically show any kind of violent act, BUT you cannot show most kinds of sex, beyond the most tame. The boards are loaded with old right wing bluehairs. In Canada, you can show almost ANY kind of sex act, BUT you cannot show violence. The boards are loaded with pepper haired volvo driving 'liberals'.Needless to say this is a waste of time and money and causes havok for tv producers content requirements. different versions etc. oh well, its for our own good.
